Server rules.

These apply in game, in server chat, and in the ScaleBound Discord. Staff decisions can be appealed through Discord.

Fully read every rule before playing so you do not get banned. This summary is not a replacement for the rules below. “I didn’t read it” is not an appeal.

Community

Rules 1–5
  1. No harassment or hate speech.

    Racism, homophobia, transphobia, or targeted harassment of any player results in an immediate ban.

  2. No toxic behavior.

    Keep chat positive. Constant negativity, drama-farming, or deliberately making the community unpleasant can lead to a mute or ban.

  3. Respect staff.

    Do not insult or ignore staff instructions. Constructive feedback and appeals belong in Discord.

  4. No advertising without admin permission.

    Do not recruit for other servers, spam invites, or promote outside services without approval.

  5. No ban evasion.

    Using an alternate account to dodge a ban, mute, or staff action can turn temporary punishment into a permanent ban. Legitimate alts are fine when staff know about them.

Gameplay

Rules 6–12
  1. No hacked clients or cheats.

    Fly, speed, x-ray, auto-clickers, kill aura, or any unfair advantage can result in a permanent ban.

  2. No griefing or stealing.

    Do not destroy, take from, or alter builds that are not yours. Block changes are logged and can be rolled back. Severe cases may result in an immediate Level 3 infraction or permanent ban.

  3. Exploits and dupes.

    Vanilla sand, TNT, carpet, rail, and similar dupes are allowed. Mod-based dupes or broken mod interactions that create infinite items or skip progression are not. Report them.

  4. No intentional lag machines.

    Infinite loops, excessive entities, and chunk-loading abuse that harms performance are prohibited. Contraptions also fall under Rule 13.

  5. PvP requires consent or a designated zone.

    Do not kill other players outside agreed PvP. The only exception is Stand Your Ground under Rule 11.

  6. Stand Your Ground.

    If someone remains inside your land after multiple clear warnings, you may kill them there. Keep proof of the warnings, do not chase them off your property, and return their loot. You may charge a reasonable return price, but staff can void gouging. Baiting players to abuse this rule is a violation.

  7. Your items remain yours when you die.

    Death does not make dropped items free. Outside agreed PvP or Stand Your Ground, taking or camping a death pile counts as stealing.

Aeronautics and contraptions

Rules 13–14
  1. Keep contraptions performance-friendly.

    Do not build oversized assemblies or spam engines, fans, and propulsion beyond what the machine needs. Staff may disassemble anything visibly hurting TPS.

  2. Do not leave contraptions running unattended.

    Park or disassemble airships and moving contraptions when logging off or walking away. Report machines causing lag.

Builds and land

Rules 15–16
  1. You own your builds and land.

    Your base, land, and items are yours. A normal boundary is the main build and roughly 50 blocks around it, unless neighbors agree otherwise. Empty wilderness cannot be claimed simply by standing near it. Staff have the final call on boundary disputes.

  2. No obscene or offensive builds.

    Sexual, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate builds will be removed and may result in punishment.

Spawn

Rules 17–20
  1. Spawn is open to build on.

    You may decorate, build shops, and run small projects. Keep paths and the spawn point clear, and do not spread over another player’s stall.

  2. Large spawn projects need approval.

    Revamps, overhauls, terraforming, and major terrain changes require a Project Application in the Discord applications channel before work starts.

  3. Spawn is a safe haven.

    No random PvP, griefing, or stealing in shared spawn areas. Your own shop or build still counts as your land, so Stand Your Ground may apply inside it after proper warnings.

  4. AFK farming is allowed within reason.

    Do not let farms lag the server. If the server is full, do not remain AFK for hours while others are waiting for a slot.

Enforcement

L1Minor violation — verbal warning.
L2Repeated or moderate violation — temporary ban, usually 1–7 days.
L3Severe or repeated violation — extended or permanent ban at staff discretion.

Appeals are handled through the Discord server. Rules may change; staying current is your responsibility.
